Happy 4th

Woke up this morning to dark skies that proceeded to let loose with violent and not so violent rain. It's been crappy all day, and is still raining . Had to get on the trainer for a little indoor session this morning, a planned easy day so not a big deal.
This is the first year I can remember that rain has been around for the 4th of July. Of course, Cali was always hot and dry this time of year, but this is common for Texas. Still doing a BBQ, having some friends over, and making the most of it.
Looking forward to hearing from Steve about the BC Bike race. It concluded today in Whistler, BC. Looking at the pics from the website and reading the daily write-ups, it sounds like an epic event.
I was going to race Sunday in Matamoros, MX but it is postponed until next weekend now. I've also been priming the wife about heading to Cali in Sept. for the Sierra-Tahoe 100 MTB race. My sis lives in Sacto. so I could shack at her place, have some free flight tickets, just need a little extra coin. I'll have to work on that one some more.
