OK, I finally did it. Though I have been fighting the thought of riding one for some time now. What the heck, I didn't have to buy it, it's a shop bike.
I brought home the Giant road bike from the shop on Monday. Got it all prepped and ready to roll. It's going to be my training tool for the 2009 season. I've spent the last 2 days on it, getting in some good hard rides, trying to build up my top end speed/power. It made sense. 1)- It's free, it had been hanging in the back since I started at BW and 2)- If I'm going to meet my goals for the upcoming year, I need another training tool.
Though my teammate Steve will give me crap for riding one, it was time.
Goals for 2009 you ask? Be patient my friends, those plans will be verbally spewed here soon.
