A rainy morning can only mean 1 thing, how about another cup of coffee? I would usually head out in this stuff (it's not really that cold), but the construction on the roads around our house make everything a muddy mess, pavement included. A good day for core and weights.
The continued knee problems have kept me on the bike consistently. Interestingly enough, the knee doesn't hurt pedaling in circles....hmmm. A sign maybe?
One things for sure, I've managed to keep my fitness in check (weight still within 5lbs. of last seasons) so that's a positive. I've even put together a small order of some new parts for the road bike. Since it's mine now, I may as well put my own touches to it.
With no sign of a mountain bike on the horizon, I've come to the reality that I'm running with what I've got now. Well, not literally "running" , more like pedaling, but you get the picture. There's plenty of road races to hit up. Oh, goodness, did I just say road races? Well I did, and there is........work with what you've got right? I mean all the cool kids are doing it ! Not to mention, I'm starting a little stash to try and get a cyclocross bike going for the fall season.
Maybe even another stint racing for Steve at Visenka......how cool would that be?
