Last weekend I was flat on my back nursing it along....flash forward to this weekend....2hr mtn bike ride Sat. and 1.5 hr ride today. All single track and all good. I even got in for a massage today after the ride, let's call it therapy. So as I sit here now I feel fantastic!
I started my off-season strength training workout last week as well. It consists of a 1 mile run down to the gym, 1 hr or so of weights, and another 1 mile run back. Nothing major, but will keep me in some sort of "fit" come time to hit it hard again.
Next Saturday is the annual Jacomo/BS Lake loop ride. It's about 40 ish miles of "mostly singletrack,certain hike/bikes and a little bush wacking". This is a rain or shine ride. Forecast right now is rain/snow showers......awesome! Since this is an invitation only ride and I've been invited, there's no way I can be a "Sally" and not show up because of bad weather. I'm hoping the weatherman is wrong.....again.
