Almost that time of year again!

This picture was taken last summer about my first month here. It was really wierd getting so much rain in the summer. The afternoon thunderstorm is a common occurrance. There were a couple times I got caught out in these gully washers while training, although still warm, it really makes a mess of things.I must not forget hurricanes! Yes, we are in hurricane "zone", so I have my plywood already cut and ready to go. It's about time I stock up on some water and canned goods too. The humidity is already kicking up.........no dry summers here!
