My friend Bruce lives in French Gulch, CA. This picture was taken about 500 yds from his house at the ridge above on Thursday. Just talked to him again, now the fire is on the near side of this ridge, but not moving much. He was told to evacuate, he said he's staying....crazy okie.

Too close for comfort
