What was supposed to be a day off the bike turned in to a 55 mile/3+ hr road ride with Eddie and Padgett. I couldn't pass up riding with actual people. It took off mellow enough, but that would soon end. I assumed my "wheel sucking"
position at the back and motored on.

I couldn't let Padgett do all the work, so I took my turn out front. We headed out to
McCook, took a brief pit stop and headed back.

Had to get a picture of an original Clydesdale, though Eddie was along for the ride and looking much more fit than this one.
Trails should be dried out now, I look forward to hitting the dirt after a long week on the pavement.
FYI- anyone interested, we're planning on doing a MTB century next weekend, ride will take us on and off road. Sounds like fun, eh?
