Weekend rambling

Rolled over to Houston for the Huntsville Classic, but with Hurricane Ike last weekend, there's just too much damage to the course to race. I'm helping put some fence back up, and using the next few days "off the bike" to rest up a bit.
Going over my upcoming schedule for the next 6 months, I'll have 7 races of 50 miles or more and 1 50k XC. I don't think these 4 days of doing absolutely nothing will hurt at all. It will probably help if nothing else.
On the sponsor front, I picked up another. So we're at 3 and counting. I've also been in contact with an individual who may be starting a new mtb team, but it's still in the works. Things are progressing well though....... it's only September !
Speaking of sponsors, if anyone out there you know may be interested in dropping some coin to help me get to some of these races, pass my info. along. I'm plan to race the Texas Marathon series( 5 races), and would like to make 4-5 races in the National Ultra 100 miler series. The first one is in the spring in Pennsylvania. Of course, none are close and will require air travel. I will try to make what I can on my own dime, but a little help would be welcomed.
